DESCRIPTION:Gratefully Yours is a Grateful Dead inspired band\, based out of New Paltz\, NY. The band was conceived and founded in 2012 by keyboardist Alex Mazur\, who is also the founder of The Deadbeats; one of the longest running Grateful Dead cover bands in existence. \nHowever\, “cover band” is an extremely misleading term when it comes to the music of Gratefully Yours. Their willingness and ability to improvise\, and their openness to spontaneity and the energy of the moment lie at the core of their performances and truly sets them apart. In the very best tradition of The Grateful Dead\, it is this openness that allows the crowd to become a part of the creative process and results in a synergy between the band and the crowd that is unique and truly special. It is that magic that Gratefully Yours truly aims to “cover” and pay tribute to. \nThey also allow their audience to participate further by giving them the opportunity to submit their dream set lists\, which Gratefully Yours just may happen to choose and perform.  But of course\, you just never know what might happen… \nThe band members are all long time highly regarded players in the scene:  Alex Mazur\, Garrin Benfield\, Jude DeFalco\, Frank Casciaro\, Robert Schiff and Jessica Barlow.  And they have some very special guests and friends who have and do sit in with them: Zach Nugent (Melvin Seals & JGB)\, Vinnie Amico (moe.)\, Tony Markelis (Trey Anastasio Band)\, Bill Carbone (Max Creek)\, Rob Eaton (Dark Star Orchestra)\, and Russ Lawton (Trey Anastasio Band).

DESCRIPTION:Rob Cannillo is a singer/songwriter whose gritty vocal style and distinctive Americana compositions speak from the heart\, engaging thousands of listeners across the U.S. \nRob\, whose music has been described by WPDH DJ Robyn Taylor as “magic” and by former Lynyrd Skynyrd drummer Artimus Pyle as “killer\,” is a self-taught musician who burst onto the Hudson Valley entertainment scene and quickly became one of the area’s premier artists. Rob’s melodies evoke the sounds of other popular indie/Americana artists such as The Avett Brothers\, John Mayer\, Jack Johnson\, Ray LaMontagne\, The Lumineers\, and Amos Lee. \nRob Cannillo is a  passionate\, earthy performer his devoted fans have come to love.  A frequent performer at festivals and fundraisers\, Rob has played a collection of renowned venues ranging from The Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville\, The Turning Point in Piermont\, NY\, The Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett\, NY\, The Falcon in Marlboro\, NY\, The Town Crier in Beacon NY\, The Cutting Room in NYC\, The Bitter End and more. Rob has opened for international recording artists including Steve Forbert\, Artimus Pyle\, New Riders of the Purple Sage\, Members of Bad Compay\, G.E. Smith and more.  \nRob has produced and performed in a series of festivals and fundraising events. These include Rock the Mountain\, a two-day festival of music\, camping\, and artisans at the Tuxedo Ridge Ski Center in Sterling Forest\, N.Y. which raises money for Spectrum for Living\, a home for adults with developmental disabilities. Rob also helped organize\, produce\, and perform in The Mighty High Mountain Festival\, The Sullivan County Blues Festival ( Now hosted at Bethel Woods).   \nRob also hosts a series of barn concerts on his four-acre property in New York’s bucolic Hudson Valley. Other music festivals where Rob has performed include River Jam in Lackawaxen\, PA; the Music in the Meadow Festival in Chester\, VT; and the Ladles of Love Fundraiser benefiting the Eastern Long Island (N.Y.)
